Dr. Jeff Reid DO, is the founder and medical director of Morpheus Precision Health, bringing together over two decades of medical expertise with a lifelong passion for caring and advocating for patients.
Dr. Reid began his academic journey at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a focus in molecular biology and biochemistry. During this time, at the height of the Human Genome Project, he gained hands-on experience in DNA research that inspired his pursuit of personalized medicine.
After graduation, Dr. Reid worked as a lab manager and research scientist at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF), where he oversaw high-throughput genotyping and genetic linkage studies in autoimmune disease research. His role at OMRF gave him extensive experience in DNA sequencing, molecular biology, and laboratory leadership, deepening his expertise in genomics and solidifying his passion for applying science to improve patient outcomes.
He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) at the University of Oklahoma and completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, receiving the John L. Plewes Outstanding Resident Award. As a practicing board-certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Reid has cared for thousands of patients, where he saw firsthand how genetic differences could profoundly impact a patient’s response to medications. These experiences highlighted the urgent need for precision medicine and pharmacogenomics in everyday clinical care.
Motivated by this vision, Dr. Reid founded Morpheus Precision Health to merge his expertise in molecular biology, genomics, and clinical medicine. His practice focuses on precision medicine, hormone optimization, weight management, IV therapy, peptide therapy, and longevity care—all designed to help patients extend their healthspan with strength, vitality, and clarity.
